Reading Note on I Have a Dream This sentence is not only a personal dream of Martin Luther King, but also the common aspiration of all oppressed black Americans. Behind the beautiful dream lies countless racial sufferings and unremitting struggles. Though written decades ago, this sentence still has profound realistic significance today. It reminds all people that equality and justice are eternal pursuits of mankind, and we should always resist discrimination, prejudice and oppression, and guard the dignity and freedom of every individual. This powerful sentence makes me realize that every equal right is hard-won, and tolerance and fairness are indispensable cornerstones of a harmonious society.
