This passage comes from The Little Prince. It tells us about a drawing of a boa constrictor swallowing an elephant. Children can see the snake inside the picture. However, grown‑ups only see a hat. They have lost their imagination and only focus on the surface of things. From this text, I learn that we should look deeper. We cannot judge things only by their appearances. We need to keep our child‑like imagination.
