    It is not because Daisy sounds like money or simply Daisy loves money, I believe it's because Daisy is like money, she's so beautiful and attractive but inside her it's empty. Gatsby must have felt it. On the contrary, Gatsby's heart is full of love, even though he understand the truth about money and Daisy, he can still love her.

    The description makes me feel uncomfortable. Though it's clear to me that Daisy is a representative of hedonism, still I can't imagine that one sounds like money. If one got a money-like voice, would he be satisfied  with any other style of life except a luxurious one.
