At first, I think Mrs Bennet is a wise old lady who keeps pushing the relationship between Jane and Mr Bingley. But me opinion changes a little now. It seems that Mrs Bennet hatches all the schemes in order to marry Jane to Mr Bingley as soon as possible instead of truly caring about her.
