    If we reflect on our past feelings and emotions, then our mind is indeed a faithful mirror, and it can imitate its object as it really is. But the colors used by the mind are faint and dim, far less than all the colors of our original perception. We do not need a careful discernment or a philosopher's mind to mark the difference between these two perceptions.
