As soon as it becomes too hot, t-shirts are lifted. As my body is drenched with sweat, I can't help but feel jealous of the men that have the temerity to bare their bellies in public. Some men even go as far as completely stripping off their shirt. In America, the only place for a bare belly is at the pool or at the beach. In fact, most public facilities do not offer service to those who do not have proper clothing on. What appalled me in China, however, was when I spotted a man who had chosen to lift up his shirt to show his stomach in a restaurant. The restaurant was chock full of people eating food, yet the man had his stomach exposed the entire time he sat there. Not only did I think that was disrespectful, but it was also crude behavior for a place where people were trying to enjoy their meal. 去书内
