    This pragraph describes the time before the leading man went back to the front.The author use a“ back”here,making us understand why they were so worried about their marrige.As we all know,the war is cruel.He had gone there and Ithink they were afraid that this may be their last happiness in their life.Maybe they will never meet again.The author described the weather and it was bad,which seems to be their tragedy's premontion.I guess the ending is sad.
