WHO IS MR.FOGG？

The Book Review of "Around the World in 80 Days" Who is Mr.Fogg The book "Around the World in 80 Days" is just as appealing to the subject. How many people have a lifetime desire which is to be able to travel around the world, but there is no time, no energy, or no money. As Wang Guozhen's poem goes, "There is a temptation for us in the distance/not to be tempted to be beautiful/to seduce to legend/even if the distant scenery is not as satisfying/this is also a beautiful mistake/head is spring/curse is autumn/month The circle is a painting/monthly absence is a poem." And for Mr. Fogg, what is the distance?    When I first met Mr. Fogg in this novel, he was the one who lived like a machine every day. He got up at a fixed time, ate at a fixed time, and went to the club on a fixed time. He was like someone who had nothing to do with anything ,for having no relatives, no friends; he is the one who has never seen to appear in other places, only in his home, in the club, if neither place is, it is in the way to go to these two places; he is that little words, A person who loves to play whist. No one knows his past, and no one can think that such a person will travel around the world.    The Bank of London was been stolen and the story began. The quarrel over travel around the world also began there, and it was also the way that the detective tracked him all the way.    Is the honor of the British just like that? Still just our hero Fogg is such a serious person? For verbal disputes only, he must personally verify the authenticity of the 80-day trip around the world, setting off in such a night of confidence. People really concerned about him. It was also a new journey for Passepartout, who just ought to settle down. Along the way, we have seen Mr. Fogg's calmness and composure. His expression never seemed to change. You never see a trace of worries or fears in his eyes. Whether it was the being schedule of the train or ship, the wrongly arrest of Passepartout, or encountering bandits, he was always him, the gentleman who is occupied with confidence and charm, named Phileas Fogg. He never thought that he would lose. However, his face was cold, even he was not the kind of cold person. He never abandoned his servant and risked his life on the way to save the poor women he did not know before. His past was a mystery, and then through the story, we can guess that he had probably traveled all over the world before, knowing a lot of geography knowledge, and was very liable to be a sailor, which can be seen from later when he returned to Liverpool. He did not take a look to the beautiful scenery along the way, maybe because he is the kind of people who do not like to travel.     In the end, they returned to London and cleared their suspicions, but they thought they had lost the game. Fortunately, finally his eyes showed a brilliance because of love. Finally, he still won the gamble. (Although it's hard to imagine why a person have so much knowledge doesn't know to add a day.)     Who is Mr.Fogg? He is a calm man, who can always come up with a solution to a problem when in danger. Maybe like what he had said, he had long anticipated that this situation would happen. He is enthusiastic.He is charming. And, he is not a reality. He was and will always be a wonderful dream in my mind, as a person I admire, as a hazy yearning in my adolescence.
