Summary
This is a story that A man named Phileas Fogg travel around the World in 80 days because of a bet with his rich but unkind friends.
On October 2 ,1872,the story began in London.The gentleman,Phileas Fogg,bet 20000 bounds with friends ,who thought it was feasible to travel around the World in 80 days.The event drew a lot of attention from people.Meanwhile,a stock called Fogg appeared on the British market.But due to the thing that a man who looked like Phileas Fogg stole many money, the stock began to depreciated ,and a righteous but not smart detective made his mind to catch Phileas Fogg.
After going through some troubles,Phileas Fogg arrived on India.When finding that a widow would be killed ,he lent a hand with the poor woman without doubt.Then they took a ship to HongKong.
The detective tried every means to obstruct their trip and eventually caught up with them in HongKong.Because he didn’t have any paper that order him to arrest them,he managed to get Mckinley faint.However,The master and the servant met with each other in Japan.
Unluckily,after that ,the detective still slew them down though they cleared the air.At this point,Phileas Fogg thought he had failed and proposed to the beautiful widow.Dramatically,the gentleman got one more day because of their route.He won!
“Around the World in 80 days” was written by famous writer --Jules Gabriel Verne.He expressed his dissatisfaction by the trip of Phileas Fogg.He also created a classical character,who is righteous ,kind and elegant.
