My views of the book
哇咔咔咔咔
The Chinese English Book systematically explores the common
phenomenon of Chinglish. The writer Joan Pinkham is an American who has
worked as a translator all her life. She has worked for 8 years in
foreign language publishing houses and central compilations, specially
for Chinese translators to translate English translations to modify and
polish. In 8 years she has accumulated a large number of typical
examples of Chinese English, according to which she scientifically
categories the specific performance of Chinglish. For me, The book is
very useful. Look closely at the first three parts, that's good.
Some suggestions and methods are put forward for the revision of
Chinglish. Most rarely, there is a reason analysis behind it. That also
gives some Western conventions into a common way of expression. After
watching, the book gave a refreshing feeling. This book is a very
practical book to improve the level of English. From a large number of
examples, the author summarizes the Chinese English language that
Chinese learners turn eyes to and become commonplace. The categories
list the wrong sentences, the reasons and reasons for the modifications,
the modified examples and chapters, and provide the corresponding
practice questions for the reader to train.
