Final book review
杨诺析
Little Women was written by the American writer Louisa May Aloct. It's
a novel which in the background of the American Civil War about the four
sisters growing. From the chapter one to chapter fourteen, we know
that when Christmas came, the Marches were all ready to become the
better. No more grumpy, no more lazy, and no more selfish. Of course,
they didn't always succeed. Sometimes they had arguments, some little
secrets and angry tears. But, there was laughter and something fun.
The four main characters are different from each other. Meg, the eldest,
was pretty but a little vain; Jo, the second, was independent and has
her own ideas; Beth, the third, was kind and shy, but love music; Amy,
the fourth, was intelligent and hoped to be the "lady of upper
class", but a little selfish. Little Women is a story of love and
freedom. When I finished reading this book, I realized how simple it is
to be happy. Happiness is family, friendship, health and hard working.
Besides, after reading Little Women, we can learn more from Mrs March.
Such as the attitude of money, the view of marriage, the outlook on life
and how to balance work and rest.
