Antonio, a respected gentleman of high rank, who gave good, lent money without interest, was always graceful, always a gentleman. He spits at Shylock's actions, so much so that he spits back his greeting. He was not wrong. The world of a man like Shylock was beyond his comprehension. He had never experienced Shylock's experience, so he could not understand Shylock's ideas and behaviors. But perhaps one day, when his people are oppressed and his faith is rejected, he will become another Shylock. But that day may never come.

However, the reality is that people from different worlds will always have the intersection. How painful it is.
