My reflections

After reading this novel, I have many feelings. In my opinion, Elizabeth is awise, elegant and passionate woman. Darcy is a man in the upper class, who is handsome and wealthy. They are both arrogant, which makes them biased towards each other. The characters they show just reflect the theme of the novel. At the same time, Austen's language has been tempered. She stresses humor and satire in the art of dialogue, and often uses humorous language to foil characters' personality characteristics. This ar tistic innovation gives her work its ownidentity. In addition, Pride and Prejudice shows us that love and marriage is not only a personal issue, but also a social issue. People consider marriage, not only patronize themselves, but also responsible for their relatives and friends, responsible for the society.
