Great expectation
norah
In great expectations, Dickens shows us all kinds of life through Pip's
ups and downs. When PIP was a child, no one took him seriously, except
his sister's violence, which was sneered at by outsiders; When PIP was
going to be a gentleman in London, many people began to bow and bow to
PIP as a VIP; Finally, PIP returned to his hometown again and met him
with contempt and groundless lessons. Like animals, people have the
habit of seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages. When a person
gets rich, the people around him want to get some cheap. When a person
is down, the people who once surrounded him disperse in a crowd and go
to find other gold owners. The trees fall and the monkeys scatter. When
we walk through the ups and downs of life, our eyes will be brighter and
brighter. Those who really care about us will send sincere blessings
even at the ends of the earth, and those who measure us with the
yardstick of interests will certainly be measured by interests.
