Review
The title of this book is "Great expectations" which make an impression on me that the character would have great expectations just as the title goes.The main character of this novel is Pip.He was bought up by his sister who was very strict and unpleasant as well as her friendly blacksmith husband-Joe.But what impressed me deeply is Joe.Compared with the life of Pip,Joe's life is so ordinary.He is an ordinary blacksmith,an ordinary pother,an ordinary husband,eveb an ordinary person.However,he is different from all other figures in the book.Whatever sufferings that life give him,he always stay simple and kind-hearted.In my opinion,much violence Joe had met in his childhood must be bad influences on his young heart.But to my surprised.he treat his sufferings in another way--to be sincere.Although I can't understand what he was thinking about,I admire his wide-minded.what's more,he is optimism.He never gives in to the difficulties that he meets.For example,he only can read "J"and "O" bacause he have no chance to study in his childhood.But he determine to study and can write letters by himself.From all of Joe's experiences，I learned that there will be nothing difficult or miserable when you treat them with a sincere heart.
