Great Expectation

He was an orphan, brought up by his sister “by hand ” .He experienced all kinds of setbacks and became an apprentice to blacksmith. After meeting the girl who fell in love at first sight, he determined to be a gentleman to match her! Fortunately, he was supported by the rich.He learned a lot of knowledge and became a gentleman in a big city .But he also lost a lot of things. His old friends may no longer call their first names because of self-esteem or identity, etc. It was dramatic that the blacksmith who killed his sister offended the apprentice, and the person who sponsored Pip was the criminal he helped in the marsh many years ago. The story is full of ups and downs and accidents everywhere, which can catch people's interest. But my favorite character is the criminal Magwitch .He was helpless and imprisoned many times. All the people thought he was a terrible crime, but when he met his boy PIp when he needed help most .From then on, Pip became the whole of his life. Even if he was sent abroad all his life, he tried to make money just to give his boy a better life! Although he is an unnoticed person, I think he is always kind and deserves to be loved and tolerated! At the end of the novel, Magwitch died in prison, but he was accompanied by his favorite boy. Joe remarried and had his own children! Pip was finally relieved and he would always be good friends with her beloved girl, even if they separated!
