Some of my thoughts
英语2203 粟玉婷
This article mainly introduces the relevant content of the documentary
"A Bite of China". After reading it, I have the following
thoughts. The film in the first quarter to choose the rare ingredients,
the threats we face is the origin of fragile ecosystem, and in the
second quarter, the producer has selected the ingredients that are
within reach for everyone, although it is the enthusiasm of the audience
died down, but the producer embodies the attention of the ecology, the
human and the nature harmonious coexistence and the spirit of the
character is certainly commendable, it should be in today's film and
television producer, The moral qualities that cultural workers and even
the general public should possess. Reading this reminds me of the song
"Love song to the earth". Although it expresses support for
the climate change agreement proposed by Ban Ki-moon, the eighth
Secretary-General of the United Nations, I personally think it is also
suitable to express our traditional hope of harmony between man and
nature, and I recommend you to listen to it. As the lyrics say Who would
have thought the ground we stand on could be so fragile. Our earth is so
fragile, we need to think about how to keep her alive and keep our feet
on the ground. Rare ingredients ≠ delicious, and taking risks may not
make you the first person to eat crab. A realistic example is the
current COVID-19 outbreak. The pursuit of wild meat may result in the
cost of life and ecological damage. At the same time, the article
mentioned that food culture should not be equated with low-end culture.
I think this reflects cultural confidence and cultural identity. For
example, it is mentioned in the article that many Chinese Americans
proudly run Chinese restaurants. They have a high degree of confidence
in Chinese food culture. Of course, excessive cultural confidence is
also inappropriate. Cultural identity is also needed. The so-called sea
embraces all rivers.
