As for the second passenge, I really surpirsed about William's experience in Xiamen.As a foreigner,he didn't feel so frustrated while he was strange to the new environment.And he chose to stay because of the teacher's love.Although he isn't a native resident in xiamen,he has learned a lot about xiamen after a period of time.In my opinion ,the most reason why he can be gradually accustomed to xianmen's life is the love about life and persistent exploring.And it's also the most of us need to study.Keep learning,and excide d about everything.and we also need the compatibility of different country's culture and worship about own country's culture like william.
