pip
little
Pip, who was timid and simple when he was young, met a girl like a
queen. He began to look down on his birth and living environment. He is
looking forward to his great future. In fact, it means that when he grew
up, he could only be a blacksmith, and he could have the opportunity to
be a "gentleman" or a "gentleman" in London. And
such a great "future" is shattered by the cold reality at the
back of the novel. Therefore, "great expectations" is actually
a satire of the author to the society at that time.
