This is the second Dickens book I've ever read. Oliver finished watching Oliver Twist a year ago. Oliver's innocence and piety are still very impressive. Dickens's works continue the honest style of the protagonists, as do PIP and Oliver. They were both in good luck, Oliver with his dear relatives, and PIP with his' noble people '. In general, Great Expectations is not a very impressive book in terms of plot Settings, but it does manage to connect the characters everywhere. It feels like there could be more stories around it, but it's being wasted by this guy. I don't know if the author didn't plan to write a long novel, but I felt that it was very urgent to finish. The preparation for PIP's life was very long. The length of nearly 60 chapters, involving the climax of the turning point of PIP's life, was finished in only one or two chapters.
