After several weeks of reading this book, I depply understood the connotation and characteristics of China's excellent traditional culture. So I have the following comments on this book.
The excellent traditional Chinese culture created and continued by the Chinese nation in its thousands of years of history is the root and soul of the Chinese nation. The historical Dragon Boat Festival has rich cultural connotations. For example, there are many aliases of the Dragon Boat Festival, such as Yulan Festival, Duanyang Festival, Poets Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and it is noit difficult to see from the many aliases of the Dragon Boat Festival that this ancient festival has been given many meanings after the precipitatition of time. Wrapping rice dumplings of different shapes and flavors, participating in various forms and wonderful festivals, everyone can find a way to celebrate the festival that suits them. It can be said that the Dragon Boat Festival is like a link, connecting history and the present, reflecting the historical traditions, values and cultural identity of the Chinese nation. Festivals are nodes in people's daily lives. Traditional festivals and customs are closely related to the production activities and spiritual world of the people at that time, and even if the years go by and the way of life continues to change, it can still bring people the moisture of the soul. On the occasion of the Dragon Boat Festival this year, in the face of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, some places have shifed folk customs activities from offline to online, so that teh connotation of the festival of disease prevention and epidemic prevention has been further highlighted.
Tagore once said:"The ancient seed, the germ of its life is contained within, but it needs tobe sown in the new era." When the years passed quietly, the torrent of history was rushing, and the Chinese culture did not pass with it. In contemporary times, Chinese culture still shows its own brilliance in the new era.
