In this novel, Austin portrays the different attitudes of girls from middle-class families in rural areas towards marriage and love issues through the different treatment of Bennet's five daughters towards life events, thus reflecting the author's own view on marriage: it is wrong to marry for wealth, money, and status; It would be foolish to marry without considering the above factors. Therefore, she opposes both marrying for money and treating marriage as a child's play. She emphasizes the importance of an ideal marriage and regards the relationship between men and women as the cornerstone of the formation of an ideal marriage. The protagonist Elizabeth in the book comes from a small landlord family and is loved by the wealthy son Darcy. Darcy proposed to her regardless of the difference in family status and wealth, but was rejected. Elizabeth's misunderstanding and prejudice towards him were one reason, but the main thing was that she disliked his arrogance. Because Darcy's arrogance is actually a reflection of status differences, as long as there is such arrogance, there can be no common thoughts and feelings between him and Elizabeth, nor can there be an ideal marriage. Afterwards, Elizabeth witnessed with her own eyes Darcy's way of life and a series of actions, especially seeing him change his proud and arrogant demeanor, eliminate misunderstandings and prejudices against him, and thus form a happy marriage with him. Elizabeth's different attitudes towards Darcy's several proposals actually reflect women's pursuit of personal independence and equal rights. This is the progressive significance of the character Elizabeth. Pride and Prejudice "is full of Elizabeth's humorous wit, but beneath this forced smile, it hides the endless suffering, dissatisfaction, and hatred of the people of that era. Perhaps there were too many misfortunes and they became numb. But what lies behind the enviable and recognized 'happiness'? Money, numbness, tears, remorse, regret, perhaps more, but the only thing missing is true love, full of true love... When I finished reading this work, I felt relieved and satisfied for Elizabeth and Darcy's successful marriage. Yes, it is because they have arrogance and prejudice that they have all these twists and turns. Elizabeth is a passionate, lively, yet innocent image of a rural girl. He didn't know how to engage in intrigue and how to distinguish between truth and falsehood, so prejudice arose in her heart. Darcy is a nobleman of the upper class, how could such a prominent and sharp position not make him feel a sense of pride in his heart? Yes, his arrogance is precisely because of this, which has led people to overlook his image of being tall, handsome, elegant, and talented. No matter how much wealth he has, people will only consider him arrogant, arrogant, and difficult to please. Elizabeth only refreshed Wickham's derogatory remarks about Darcy's character due to her prejudice against him. In the journey of life, each of us is a dream seeker. Dream is the leisurely white mist adorned on the walls of Wushan Gorge, I don't know when to come, when to go, and where to go; Dream is a faint rainbow stretching into the river, and its most beautiful moment is when it is about to disappear. What a magical dream it is, it haunts the soul! It attracts countless dream chasers carrying the silt of the Yellow River, holding the purity of the Yangtze River in their hands, walking with alternating steps of the sun and moon, chasing the notes of the problem. Every difficult journey during this period is filled with the bitterness of struggle, and we need to face it with enough courage, endure it, and strive for it.
