Invisible preparation

陈思嘉

This time Holmes acted as an spy in order to keep an eye on those German. He worked for his country heart and soul, which was shown in his words when he talked to his enemy.

I have to confess that Holmes showed his talent to worked as a spy perfectly. He toiled in darkness, getting close to relatives and friends of his enemy several times without exposing his personal identity. Finally he enabled himself to play his last role - an American, with his friend Watson as a private driver.

As far as I concerned, Holmes weaved a huge net above his enemy's head. It covered every corner of this case by his design. He made efforts to build the net by transforming identities, which needed great talent of pretense. Slightly set by him, this whole net became invisible for his enemy to discover.

In daily life, preparation behind any tasks are usually invisible from outside. Only if we concentrate on our own task can we make adequate preparation and ultimately complete the task.
