Some thoughts about The Five B
This article tell us a short story that a man was given five gifts to choose by a fairy. The man choose love、pleasure、 fame and riches by turns. Every choice are ended with regrets and resentment. Someone think that this story aims at warning people that they will a huge pice if they make a wrong decision. But I think that what the man choose is not matter. The most important thing is his attitude he holds to his choice and his life. Through the story, we can see that when the man have a gift he lost himself in it with highly exception. So when he lost the boons or when the happiness turn into tragedy, he regret and fell so sad that he spent his whole lifein struggling and regretting. In fact, losing is not a terrible thing. Nothing is given without a disadvantages in it. one cannot make an omelet without breaking eggs. It's reasonless to lose faith in life and stop persuing because of losing.
