王羲之
Wang Xizhi was one of the most famous calligraphers in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. When he was very young, he practiced calligraphy everyday and r stopped. He absorbed the advantages of all other calligraphy schools and formed his own unique style of writing because of his achievements.
He was once known as one of the sages of Chinese Calligraphy. Once, Wang Xizhi sketched on wood, which was carved by a sculptor. Later, the sculptor found that ink had penetrated into the wood by one centimeter.
The story "Ru Mu San Fen" was comes from this story, which means that calligraphy is very penetrating.
Now it is often used to describe sharp ideas or profound views.
