scene☆ 1This kind of atmosphere makes people feel sad. All the furniture
was covered with sheets. There were no clocks on the walls no
knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard
box filled with photosand glassware . 2Making people feel relaxed and
happy. We were staying at a beautiful little guest cabin, surrounded by
fruittrees, flowers and even a few goats. 3They feel warm and light.
Along the country road, there were many beautiful flowers, green
grassand trees. The sun gently glistened through the leaves. All of
these made up the most beautiful picture in the world. 4I was moved by
my mother's love. When I came home and stepped into my house doorway,I
was greeted by my quilts just there. Different from the noon, they had
been moved to the sunniest place. The snow-white linings of the quilts
were gently gilded by the setting sun while my mother's quilts
werehang-ing solitarily at the ends of the clothesline. On them, the
dumb shadows of the house were drawing their tedious and inerratic
geometric figures. act☆ 1Mom was surprised. My mother stopped her work
and raised her head with surprise in her eyes. 2He felt hopeless and
helpless. As I was walking,I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.
They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him
so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land
in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this
terrible sadness in his eyes. 3She felt excited and proud. Overcome and
in tears I ran up on stage and put my arms around Robert in joy. 4I feel
very difficult, and pity her. I quietly reached over and shut off
themeter. inner world☆ 1It suddenly dawned on me. That wasthe first
timeI realized thateach person created the inner peace or discord that
flowed out into the world. We cannot create world peace if we are
riddled with inner conflict, hatred, doubt or anger. 2I feel hopeless.
Well, Robert began with his piano lessons andfrom the beginning I
thought it was a hopelessendeavor. Much as Robert tried, he lacked the
sense of tone and basic rhythm needed to excel. But he dutifully reviewed
his scales and some elementary pieces that I required all my students to
learn. 3I feel distrustful.I thought that any damage he would do would
come at the end of the program and I could always salvage his poor
performance through my "curtain closer". speech☆ I still have
it in my memory even now that ev-ery time the old couple met my dad
anywhere, they would just look at him with blessings in their tearful
eyes and whisper "Angel!"andwould say to me, "You have an
angel for a father". 2I was angry and he was moved. As I handed him
his qlasses,I said, Those guys are jerks. They really should get
lives." He looked at me and said, Hey thanks! 3He is very sad.
"Well, actually she had cancer and passed away this morning."
4She is proud of her students. "l've never heard you play like
that, Robert! How did you do it?"
