The Book of Songs, originally known as the Book of Songs, also known as
the Three Hundred Poems, was included in Confucian classics and is known
as the Book of Songs. It includes a total of 305 poems from the early
Western Zhou Dynasty to the mid Spring and Autumn period, divided into
three major parts: "Feng" (the style of the Fifteen Kingdoms,
totaling 160 poems), "Ya", "Daya" (the
"Xiaoya", totaling 105 poems), and "Song" (the
"Zhou Song", "Lu Song", and "Shang Song",
totaling 40 poems), It depicts an incredibly vivid picture of social
history and is the first collection of Chinese poetry, as well as the
source of Chinese poetry. The Book of Songs (Chinese English version)
utilizes the vivid translation of James Legge, a renowned British
sinologist, to lead readers to appreciate the grandeur of this epic work
from both Chinese and Western perspectives.
