School and society

There is a close relationship between school and society, which refers to the mutual relationship or connection between school and society in promoting human progress and social development. The occurrence and development of education is intrinsically related to the development and changes of society as well as the various needs of human beings seeking for their own survival. Therefore, I decided to choose Dewey's "School and Society" this book to read, after reading this educational masterpiece gave me a deep experience, I have a great inspiration. John Dewey is a modern American educational thinker and pragmatist philosopher. I am afraid that no one can match Dewey's profound influence and unparalleled contribution to the educational thought and implementation in the United States and the world. His thought not only formed the experimental philosophy system after the American pragmatism, but also indirectly influenced the implementation and theory of new education -- the so-called progressive education. It took me a long time to read Dewey's "School and Society". I always feel that I have to read his book carefully and appreciate its educational significance. Based on the relationship between school and society, School and Society reveals that education should start from children's instincts and needs, and emphasizes the importance of activities related to children's direct experience, social life and family life. After reading the book, the following educational theories left a deep impression on my mind.
