Chinese Spirit

Recently, I read Mr. Gu Hongming's book "The Spirit of the Chinese People". This book explains the spirit of Chinese civilization and reveals its value from the perspectives of real Chinese people, Chinese etiquette, and Chinese language. Written during World War I at the beginning of the last century, just as European civilization was in crisis, Gu Hongming's goal was very clear, pointing out a way out for Europe and even the entire world civilization in crisis. The purpose is to attempt to explain the spirit of Chinese civilization and reveal its value. Youth are the hope and future of society, and should have a high sense of responsibility and mission towards the country and the nation.
