Reflections on The W

After reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz , I was deeply moved. The story
is mainly about a little girl named Dorothy who is taken to the Land of
Oz by a cyclone. In the process of finding her way home, she meets three
friends: the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. Each of them
is looking for something they think they lack, but in the end, they all
realize that they have had it all along. From Dorothy, I have seen
bravery and kindness. Even though she is in a strange world, she always
keeps a positive attitude and treats her friends sincerely. The
Scarecrow has taught me that intelligence is not about appearance but
about understanding with the heart. The Tin Man has shown me that love
and kindness are the warmth in everyone’s heart. The Cowardly Lion has
made me understand that courage is not about being fearless but about
overcoming fear to take action. This book has taught me that everyone
has unlimited potential inside, and as long as we are brave enough to
explore, we will find our own value. At the same time, friendship and
teamwork are so important that they can help us overcome difficulties
and achieve our dreams.
