My opinion

After reading A Reader of Chinese Culture , I was truly amazed. This book has given me a brand-new understanding of the profound and extensive Chinese culture. The poetry and literature in the book are so captivating. For example, the boldness of Li Bai and the solemnity of Du Fu. As I read, it felt like I was seeing the prosperous Tang Dynasty with my own eyes and feeling the poets' emotions, whether they were full of vigor or filled with sadness. The charm of these words is really touching. The traditional crafts are also amazing. Paper-cutting and embroidery show the skillfulness of the Chinese people. Every cut and stitch feels like a little fairy telling an ancient story. What I admire most is the way Chinese people explain things. Take "harmony in diversity" for example, it teaches us how to find harmony among different people. There is also the idea of "cultivating oneself, putting one's house in order, governing the country, and bringing peace to the world," which starts from the individual and extends to the whole world. These ideas, from small to large, are really thought-provoking the more you ponder them. This book makes me feel proud deep down. We have such a great cultural treasure in China. I want to tell these stories to more people in the future and hope to study hard to pass on these good traditions.
