The Storm of Love an

Wuthering Heights is a work that requires courage to read. It refuses to
offer cheap consolation or provide simple moral answers. It leads the
reader through the extremes of love and the abyss of hate, finally
allowing a glimpse of a strange and twisted redemption—not through God's
forgiveness, but through an eternal reconciliation in death, achieved
only after all passion is spent. It did not belong to the age in which
it was born. It belongs to all readers who dare to confront the storm
within their own hearts. Nearly two centuries after its publication, we
can still see in it the wuthering moors of our own inner selves, never
fully tamed by civilization.
