Book Review on Robin
用户824058
Robinson Crusoe, written by the famous British writer Daniel Defoe, is
one of the most classic adventure novels in world literature. The book
tells a touching and inspiring story. Robinson Crusoe refused his
parents’ steady arrangement and insisted on going sailing to pursue
adventure. Unfortunately, a terrible shipwreck killed all other crew
members, leaving him as the only survivor stranded on a deserted lonely
island. During the 28 years of isolation, he overcame countless
difficulties: hunger, loneliness, dangerous wild animals and bad
weather. He built houses, planted crops, raised livestock and learned
various survival skills by himself. Later, he made a loyal friend named
Friday and finally returned to his hometown safely. This novel deeply
teaches me valuable lessons. Life is full of unexpected challenges. When
we face difficulties and despair, we should never give up. Instead, we
need to stay positive, rely on ourselves and make efforts to change the
situation. In addition, Robinson’s perseverance and optimism are the
most precious spiritual wealth worth learning for every reader. All in
all, this is an amazing book worthy of reading.
