The Fading of the Gr
用户865332
After reading The Great Gatsby, I feel deeply moved. Gatsby’s obsessive
pursuit of Daisy and the green light symbolizes the American Dream —
beautiful but ultimately an illusion. Despite his wealth and grand
parties, he remains lonely and is eventually abandoned by those who used
him. Fitzgerald reveals that the past cannot be repeated, and
dream-chasing without true values leads only to tragedy. The ending
reminds us: we keep striving, yet are forever carried back into the past.
