Book Review of Bill

After reading the biography of Bill Gates, I have a new definition of greatness and success. This book fully presents his legendary life, showing how he grew from a curious teenager obsessed with technology into a great entrepreneur and warm-hearted philanthropist. His experience has deeply inspired me. Bill Gates possessed amazing learning ability and unique insight from an early age. He was passionate about computer technology and always kept exploring new fields. To realize his dream of popularizing personal computers and changing people’s lives, he made a bold decision to drop out of Harvard University. With firm grit, endless efforts and innovative thinking, he founded Microsoft. He led the development of computer technology, greatly promoted the progress of the digital age, and brought huge convenience to people all over the world. His perseverance in overcoming countless difficulties deserves my sincere respect. The most touching part of his life is his dedication to public welfare. After achieving brilliant career success and huge wealth, he never became arrogant or greedy. On the contrary, he chose to give back to society. He set up a charity foundation, donating most of his fortune to help poor areas improve education, cure infectious diseases and relieve global poverty. He devotes his time and energy to helping vulnerable groups, passing on warmth and hope to the world. This book lets me understand that true greatness never lies in wealth or fame, but in using one’s ability to benefit others and society. Bill Gates’ spirit of persistence, innovation and responsibility encourages me constantly. In my future study and life, I will keep working hard, pursue my goals bravely, and try to become a useful person who can contribute to society.
