Book Review of The Call of The
Recently I read The Call of The Wild writen by Jack London.The novel is a adventure novel based on the Klondike Gold Rush.The whole story is about an amazing experience of a dog who's name is Buck.Buck was a civilized dog who live a pleasant life in a southern judge's family.But unluckily the god of fate played a big joke with Buck.He was sold to the cold north as a sled dog.Buck start a painful and sad life from then on.Although Buck suffered a lot,he became stronger and stronger.Buck turned to a wild powerful creature.And at last he became the leader of a group of wovles in the deep forest. Buck 's experience bring me in deep thought In the north ,the living environment is dangerous and wild,the civilized behavior is no longer important.The most important thing is how to survive.So Buck abandoned his politeness and kindness instead of the natural rudeness.Buck is a dog with strong adaptability.His story told us that we must learn to adapt everything we meet because life is not always happy.We must be strong enough to face the difficulties and challenges in our life. As we can see, Buck is also a loyalty dog.He knew how much his master treat him and he never forget to repay his beloved master.That quality is indispensable for us human society. Buck's story also inspired me one thing that the environment play a key role of a man's growing.People must manage to change theirselves if they have no ability to change the environment.Those who changed theirselves successfully will be the final winner.Buck set us a good example. In summary,the author mean to expose the human nature by narrate a dog's legendary experience.The call of the wild is not only the call from the wild world but also the call the original wild nature. By reading this book,I have a new idea of human nature.It really brought me a lot.
