  Secondly, Darcy laid down his pride for love. 

  Darcy was by nature reserved and uncommunicative. His arrogance, on the one hand, comes from the stereotype of his unsmiling character, on the other hand from his family upbringing. However, since his first confession was rejected by Elizabeth, Darcy did not hold grudges and did not ignore Elizabeth's words. Instead, he left behind a letter to defend himself and left quietly. 

  Since then, Darcy's attitude towards people has become very courteous, friendly and gentle speech, he quietly learned to put down arrogance.

  
  

  Besides, Darcy is responsible for love.

     There are many admirable things about Elizabeth, just as the novel says that she is lovely, intelligent, and able to talk to anyone gracefully.

     Her honesty, grace, and intelligence set her apart from the lowbrow boredom of her social class.

     However, her sharp language and premature judgment on others have also led to her confusion.

  Elizabeth is not a copy of a vulgar mother and an indifferent father, nor is it a combination of several absurd sisters, nor is it the epitome of powerful women. When she gradually saw Mr. Darcy's noble quality, she found her wrong understanding of Mr. Darcy.
