わんgじあぇThe Terracotta Army is a collection of life-sized terracotta sculptures of the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. The soldiers were created in battle formation, equipped with real weapons such as spears, swords, and crossbows. The Terracotta Army was discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Lintong, Xi'an, Shaanxi province. It is part of a larger mausoleum built to contain the tomb of Qin Shi Huang.
