《红字》读后感

It is Hester's struggleness for her Pearl that impresses me a lot.When Governor Bellingham tended to take Pearl away,Hester did her utmost to turn him down.She claimed and argued that her child was the only purity in her life,which reminded her the sin and motivated her to confess.However,Mr. Dimmesdale's hesitation because of alleged morality and dignity implied his cowardice.The dialog vividly presents us with the inner characteristic of those figures.
