《中国人的精神 的书评

When I finished the book ,the Spirit of Chinese People ,I admired the writer of the book very much,whose name is Gu Hongming .He used his vivid description and deep words changing some westerners’ prejudice against China.In this book,he compared Chinese with people in other western countries,he said that real Chinese culture must be “deep, broad, simple” and people in other countries never be like this . I think may be his words are absolutism,but his love to China and Chinese culture are moving.
In another chapter,The Chinese Woman,he translated some Chinese traditional poems such as the Shih Ching，which shaped a lively Chinese ideal woman character.However,his description about Three Obediences and Four Virtues were regarded as the symbol of his feudal though. But I think this is very normal because of his living environment and times background. And from another point of view,he could explain the classical beauty of Chinese culture very well may benefits from his traditional though.
In addition to this,he told us the beauty of Chinese language.He said Chinese is “the language of child”,which I agreed very much.Chinese is my mother tongue and I use it from childhood to now.It’s beautiful and magic.When I say and write it,I think I was a poet.
All in all,Mr.Gu’s enthusiasm to China and Chinese culture attracted me.
